You only need 7 ingredients for this yummy apple crisp dessert. First, preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Grease 4 ramekins with nonstick spray and set aside. To make the filling, peel and slice 2 medium apples and put them in a mixing bowl. Next, add 2 Tbsp of light brown sugar, ½ Tbsp of lemon juice, and ½ tsp of cinnamon. To make the crumbly topping, you will need ½ a stick of unsalted butter, ½ cup of all-purpose flour, ⅓ cup plus 1 Tbsp of light brown sugar, ½ cup of oats, and 1 tsp of cinnamon. Mix everything except the butter together then cube up your butter and use a pastry blender until the mix has a somewhat clumpy texture. Next, divide the apple filling evenly between the ramekins and top them off with the crumble mixture. Bake for about 30 minutes until the apples are soft and the crumble on top is golden brown. This simple dessert is sure to wow your family and can easily be doubled or tripled to feed more people at once. If you don’t have enough ramekins for a lot of guests, cook your apple crisp in a 9 by 13 baking dish instead.

Next, this apple tart is a stunning dessert that can serve as a centerpiece for your holiday dessert table. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and get a couple of large mixing bowls and a tart pan ready. Get 5 apples (you can use a variety if you want) and wash, peel, core, and slice them into even pieces. Put them in a bowl and add ⅓ cup of packed brown sugar, fresh juice from ½ of a lemon, 1 tsp of cinnamon, and 1 tsp of vanilla extract then stir it well. In a separate bowl, whisk 1 ⅓ cup of all-purpose flour, ¼ cup of packed brown sugar, ½ tsp of salt, and ¼ tsp of cinnamon together. Melt 10 Tbsp of butter and add that to your flour mix. Stir it until a dough forms and press it into your tart pan. Arrange your apples in stacks of 12 with the cut side down and arrange them on top of the dough. Sprinkle your dessert with a bit of sugar and add in small cubes of butter on top to help give it that golden brown color. Bake the tart for about 1 hour and allow it to cool slightly before serving.

Lastly, you can make an easy crustless apple pie that is hassle free and the perfect finishing touch to any leftover holiday meal. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cut some apples in half and take out the core and place them cut side down on the baking sheet. Use a sharp paring knife to make thin slices in the apple halves but be careful so that the slices aren’t cut all the way through. Brush your prepared apples with melted butter and sprinkle with some sugar then bake for about 25 minutes. Take them out and combine more melted butter with sugar, some cinnamon, and oats. Spoon this mixture in between each slit and bake the apples for 10 more minutes. Serve your individual crustless apple pies warm with caramel and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top.

We hope you enjoy making these desserts and encourage you to create and share even more apple desserts this holiday season!
